ReChurch 1 (Romans 1:1-5)

Part of the Vision 2015 series, preached at a Sunday Night service

This is the first part of the SBC Vision series for the year. We continue to explore the idea of "Amazing Jesus" - as individuals, as a church and in our community. In this message: what are we expecting of God?, and of us, and how are we expecting the work of the Spirit of God to change us? None of us are in this to 'do church'. Dave encourages us to join together with the same passion that Paul writes about in Romans 1:1-5 - called to call to revelation, repentance, renewal and restoration! Dave Rowe

Romans 1:1-5

1:1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, (ESV)
